  14. distributing p1 Modula-2, Version 4.1 (developed by p1 Gesellschaft für
  15. Informatik mbH of West Germany) in the U.S.  This product is ready to ship now
  16. from our MADA office in Everett, WA.  p1 Modula-2 is fully compatible with
  17. MacApp 2.0, and has received favorable reviews from those Apple software
  18. engineers who have tried it.  Please check out the product description below:

  21. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
  22. p1 Modula-2, Version 4.1

  26. p1 Modula-2, Version 4.1, is an object-oriented language based on the 3rd
  27. Edition of “Programming in Modula-2” by Niklaus Wirth.  It implements the
  28. language extensions from the current standardization drafts of ISO and is fully
  29. integrated in MPW, and compatible with all MPW languages and frameworks,
  30. including MacApp 2.0.  The language and its compiler, module library, debugger
  31. and utility set is well adapted for writing desk accessories, init resources
  32. and external routines for HyperCard or 4th Dimension.
  33.     p1 Modula-2 is the first Modula-2 implementation which offers language
  34. constructs for object-oriented programming.  The language extensions correspond
  35. to those of Apple’s Object Pascal and are link compatible with Object Pascal
  36. and MacApp.  Two debuggers are available: The MacApp debugger and the p1
  37. Modula-2 debugger.  Definition Modules for MacApp are included in the compiler
  38. package.  Modules for easy access of toolbox and MPW routines are provided, as
  39. well.  The package also contains sample programs for applications, tools, DAs,
  40. 4D external routines and MacApp.
